Dorothy (Konradi) Scott

            Dorothy Marie Scott, 91, of Milan passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Ripley Crossing in Milan.  Dorothy was born Saturday, April 20, 1929 in Guilford, Indiana, the daughter of the late August and Martha (Dohleman) Konradi.  She married Robert Scott Jr on June 26, 1948 and he preceded her in death March 27, 1998.  Dorothy was employed by Seagram Distillery for over 40 years and made many memories and friends while there.  She was an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church, where she volunteered with the ladies’ group.  She enjoyed baking, cooking, and helping others.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren.  She also worked on the homestead farm and loved reciting the 23rd Psalm while feeding the cows.

            Dorothy is survived by her sons Jack (Sue) Scott of California, Kentucky and David (Wanda) Scott of Milan; daughters Kara (Tim) Taylor of LaGrange, Kentucky and Karla (Matthew) Raab of Milan; sister Wilma Pease of Aurora; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents August and Martha, husband Robert, and brothers Herman, Robert “Bob”, and Bill Konradi, and sister Margaret Wagner.

            A service celebrating her life will be held at 2 PM Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan with Pastor Charlie Miller officiating.  Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Manchester.  Family and friends may gather to share and remember her 5 - 8 PM Saturday, July 18 also at the funeral home.  Memorials may be given in honor of Dorothy to Zion Lutheran Church or the Pregnancy Care Center of Southeast Indiana.  Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements, 707 S.
