Kenneth "Ken" Lewis Obituary

            Kenneth “Ken” C. Lewis, 69, of Milan passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ken was born on Thursday, August 28, 1952 in Milan, Indiana the son of Kash and Katherine (Kissinger) Lewis. Ken proudly served his country in the National Guard. He married Anna (Cook) Lewis on July 8, 1976. Ken worked in the factory on the production line. He held many jobs which included, but not limited to, being a deputy for the Ripley County Sheriff Department, a farmer who loved to farm, and retired from the transportation department as a bus driver for the Milan Community Schools. Ken was an avid pilot and was owner/operator of Lewis private airfield, he held a private and recreational pilot license, and flew planes for many years. He enjoyed watching westerns and playing golf in his spare time. Ken’s greatest passion in life was spending time with his family.

            Ken will be greatly missed by his loving wife Anna of 45 years; sons Scott Lewis and John (Sarah) Lewis; brothers Edward Lewis, Wayne (Lee Ann) Lewis, and Alan (Peggy) Lewis all of Milan; and six grandchildren.

            Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Kash and Katherine, and two sisters-in-law Darlene Lewis and Sherry Lewis.

            A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be given in honor of Ken to the Osgood First Baptist Church.
