Larry James Bryant

          Larry James Bryant, 63, of Fairfield, Ohio passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 at his home with his loving family by his side. Larry was born on Thursday, February 20, 1958 in Hamilton, Ohio; son of James and Joyce (Jessie) Bryant. Larry married the love of his life, Glenda (Pruss) Bryant on December 9, 1978. Larry worked for General Motors from 1976 - 1988 and CG&E (Duke Energy) from 1988 until his retirement in 2016. Larry was a member of the Washington Lodge #17 in Hamilton, Ohio. He enjoyed woodworking, go-karting (OVKA and WKA), stain glass artwork, and traveling, especially cruising.

          Larry will be missed by his wife, Glenda Bryant of Fairfield, Ohio; son James (Brittany) Bryant of Charlotte, North Carolina; mother Joyce Webb of Lithia, Florida; father-in-law Glenroie Pruss of Dillsboro, Indiana; stepbrothers William Webb (Shirley Stevens) of Lakeland, Florida and Robert Webb of Lithia, Florida; brother-in-law Ronald (Janice) Pruss of Milan, Indiana; sister-in-law Angela (Ronald) Crouse of Cleves, Ohio; grandson Miles Bryant; nieces - Rachel, Brandy, Whittney, and Shelby; nephews - Bradley, Michael, Braden, and Hunter.

          Larry is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest and Nellie Jessie, and his mother-in-law Marie Pruss.

          Family and friends may gather in remembering Larry from 10 AM - 12 PM on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home in Dillsboro. A service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM with Rev. Jared Tucher officiating. Burial will take place in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.

          Memorials may be given in honor of Larry to the American Cancer Society or the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.
