Matthew Chartrand Obituary
Matthew Joseph Chartrand, 60, of Sunman, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on Saturday, October 8, 1960 in Watertown, New York to Andy Chartrand and Virginia (Johnson) Chartrand. In Matthew’s free time, he enjoyed artwork of many forms, including but not limited to, making figurines and magnets. He loved to fish and hike. Matthew will always be remembered as a great father, husband, brother, and son who loved his family.
Matthew is survived by his wife of 35 years, Amber (Bevis) Chartrand of Sunman; son Andre Chartrand of Sunman; daughter Kassandra (Chad) Skaggs of Florence, Indiana; mother Virginia Chartrand of Dayton, Ohio; siblings Andre, Robert, Jean, Mary, Steve, Leon, Barb, Maureen, John, and Mischelle; and 10 grandchildren.
Matthew was preceded in death by his father, Andy Chartrand.
